Fog Seal Asphalt Emulsion “FSAE 203”
DESCRIPTION
FSAE 203 is a slow setting or quick setting cationic asphalt emulsion suitable for fog seal application.
Fog Seal: is a very light application of asphalt emulsion on a lightly weathered and/or worn asphalt
pavement.

• Can be applied easily and rapidly.

• Provides a thin asphalt film to penetrate and fill surface voids and minute cracks.
• Dries after spraying within a short period of time depending upon climate and road conditions as
well as its composition and rate of spraying.
RECOMMENDED USES
• Sealing minor surface voids in new asphalt construction.
• Renewing an old asphalt pavement.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
• FSAE 203 is sprayed by hand tools, sprayers, and equipped vehicle.
• Spraying must be done uniformly and pressurized.
